Inspired by the beauty of star-strewn nights and the longing for refreshing sleep the idea for our FOXY SLEEP MASK was born. With sensitive craftsmanship, creativity and a good amount of perseverance, we have developed a technique for printing the stars so they look like the night sky that inspired us. As always, each and every meter of our finest organic cotton is still hand-sprayed individually in our Viennese Studio.

 Everyday objects for practical use can be chic and charming at the same time … this is our heartfelt design credo. We thus designed our mask to have the perfect fit: Light as a feather and filled with 100% cotton, our Foxy Sleep Mask gently and effectively shades your eyes. Adorned with foxy ears, you can be anything in your wildest dreams: the cutest fluffy little fox or the strongest super-heroine or hero!

DESIGNED IN VIENNA: MADE IN AUSTRIA

Eco, social, local is what we strive for daily. We are happy to have found regional manufacturers who share our quality awareness, and with whom we have formed a strong team. Our Foxy Sleep Masks are made in a workshop close to the Mur-River in the beautiful Styrian countryside. In this family-run business, an ambitious team of women pays great attention to detail and follows the highest production standards. And, what is more, it provides its highly qualified staff with regional workplaces and family-friendly working conditions.

The authentic craftsmanship and exquisite quality of the Schladminger Perl-Loden inspired our first travel accessories collection, the COSY LODEN COLLECTION. Years later, we are still committed to our customer-focused design, cases and sets that cleverly organise and accompany our daily lives. 

All SAID THE FOX wool is produced in Styria. We have partnered with one of Austria's leading LODEN MANUFACTURERS that has existed for over a century, with expertise passed on from generations. Our collections are handmade and finished to a high standard in a socially committed workshop in Vienna.

In the not so distant past, Austria had a flourishing textile industry, with families passing down their skills and knowledge to the next generation. And entrepreneurs who created jobs and thus took over responsibility for the economic development in the region.

Our CORK SKIN COLLECTION is made from original PORTUGESE CORK SKIN. The pleasantly soft material is light, water-repellent and features a natural aesthetic appearance, soft touch and practical use.

Cork oak traditionally grows in the Mediterranean region. The sustainable harvest of the raw material from its bark is an important contribution to the preservation of an original ecosystem: Portuguese cork oak forests are home to rare and endangered species such as the Iberian lynx or the Spanish imperial eagle. 
A cork oak can live for 250 to 300 years. The first harvest is only after 25 years, and subsequently only every nine years. The harvesting of cork does not harm the tree - no trees are cut down - when the bark is extracted a new layer of cork regrows, making cork a renewable resource.

ART: TITANILLA EISENHART “Everything always starts with a drawing, which can then develop into an image, a sculpture, a video, a fairy tale…” TITANILLA EISENHART is an excellent illustrator with her own, charismatic and characteristic stroke, whose work features social criticism as well as poetry, tenderness and a wry sense of humor. The artist works on a freelance basis in multi-media in the fields of illustration, painting, collage, sculpture, video and installation, and also works as an author and curator. Her work is shown at exhibitions in Austria and abroad, and further in the old “Mesnerhaus”, the sacristan house in Himmelberg, where she also organizes international artists exhibitions.

The history of ... SAID THE FOX started in Vienna. We opened our first design office in the former offices of the WIENER WERKSTÄTTE, on historical ground. What an inspiration to walk in the footsteps of the former “Production Cooperative of Arts and Crafts”! Following the creative spirit of the founders Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser, we offer our attention and love for everyday objects and aesthetic permeation of all areas of life. The focus of our design is on celebrating simple restraint and playful joy, and achieving the highest quality in regional manual fabrication and production. LINES AND STRIPES is our personal and respectful homage.
